Creator

Responding to Renna’a prompt # 136
https://reinventionsreena.wordpress.com/2020/05/21/reenas-exploration-challenge-136/

I am the eternal one

The first cause

I have no beginning and no end

All creation is mine

Count the grains of sand

It will not equal

The stars in the universe

There is a purpose to my design

But it is not for you to know

For you are arrogant

In your knowledge

Short sighted

In your perception

My knowledge

Is not your knowledge

You delve in natural law

My laws are eternal

Laws of the spirit

Grace perfects nature

Listen to me

I created you in my image

To rise from potentiality

To actuality

From flesh to spirit

Feed your soul

And be born anew

Wisdom 13:

For all men who were ignorant of God were foolish by nature;
and they were unable from the good things that are seen to know him who exists,
nor did they recognize the craftsman while paying heed to his works;

Would I care to be right? If life was not finite If I’d the luxury of eternity to let it be naturally proved that I’ve always been right… beliefs and perspectives windowless walls between us block insights – so much so, that you revel in pleasures of darkness bottling and imprisoning light the beheaded boatman sinks with the boat messenger from afar carrying a crumpled note All is not well, all is not right.. But I’d always been right He should not have ventured this far… He risked his life for a cause inane A carrier of ignorance, misguided By those who think they’re right

  1. Eugenia’s prompt for this week is renewal, and here you are talking about ‘born anew’. I feel young once again 😀

    Thanks for a value-adding and engrossing piece as usual!

  2. Excellent response, Len. You’ve expressed something very difficult to explain very well. We can’t be trusted to know all, but we can experience so much more in life if we drop the arrogance and acknowledge we don’t everything.

  3. Eloquently written, Len. Even your title expresses the new and the renewal of existence. I’m so glad Reena suggested you share your piece on my site. You’re welcome to join in anytime. All you do is drop your link in my comment section just as you do for Reena’s prompts.

    1. Thanks, Christopher. I like reading the psalms. I do feel a little guilty for not having given credit to Thomas Aquinas. I’m trying to catch up on other blogs and can’t wait to head over in your direction to read your always superb take on matters spiritual.
